Zelensky accuses Putin of trying to blame Ukraine for concert hall attack

Ukrainian President Zelensky says waiting for Russian President Vladimir Putin is ‘tragic’ Addressing the Russians publicly overnight just to accuse Ukraine was involved in a terrorist attack on a concert hall near Moscow.
On Saturday, Putin told the Russian public that the perpetrators of the Krokus town hall attack “tried to hide and go to Ukraine, and according to preliminary data, a border crossing window was prepared for them on the Ukrainian side.”
Zelensky and several Ukrainian officials have strongly denied any Ukrainian involvement in the attack.
Zelensky also said in his night speech that Russians “come to Ukraine, burn our cities and try to blame Ukraine”.
Zelensky added that if the Russian people “do not raise any questions with their security and intelligence agencies, then Putin will once again try to turn this situation to his personal advantage”.
More background: The terrorist group ISIS claimed responsibility for the Russian attack, according to a brief statement posted on Telegram on Friday by ISIS-affiliated news agency Amaq. Islamic State has yet to provide evidence to support this claim.
Earlier this week, Putin dismissed warnings from the US embassy about possible terrorist attacks on large groups, telling the Federal Security Service (FSB) that the embassy’s warnings were “provocative” and “blatant blackmail”.
