ORLANDO, Fla. – Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected less than four minutes into Wednesday night’s game against the Orlando Magic.

Green kept yelling at referee Ray Acosta after he was called for his first foul. A few games later, after Stephen Curry was called for a shooting foul, Green approached Acosta and started yelling at him. Acosta issued a technical foul and Green didn’t stop, and Acosta gave him another technical foul, ending his night at 8:24 of the first quarter.

As Green left the court, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expressed his displeasure with the officiating. During the ensuing pause, Corey shook his head and paced back and forth.

In the end, the Warriors won 101-93.

This was the fourth ejection of Green’s career this season. He is the first player to be ejected at least four times in a season since Kevin Durant was ejected five times in 2017-18, according to ESPN Stats & Information research.

Wednesday’s game also marked the second time this season that Green was ejected in the first quarter. He is the only player in the past 20 seasons to have multiple first-quarter ejections in a season, according to ESPN Stats & Information.
